We have been allocated 25 complimentary day tickets for the Forbidden Forest Festival at Belvoir Castle on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd July 11am to 11pm.

Public Rights to inspect un-audited accounts 2021-2022
Please be advised that the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for WOTWATA Parish Council and the un-audited accounts are available for inspection from Monday 13th June 2022 to Friday 22nd July 2022.
Notification has also been posted on the Parish Noticeboards.

Tenure Decision Postponed
The decision on the tenure of the development at 38-48 High Street, Waltham was due to be made on Thursday 26th May by MBC planning department. This application will no longer be presented at committee this Thursday. No future date has yet been set.

Two weeks of summer activities for children - book now!
The Parish Council have teamed up again with Finding Fitness to provide two weeks of children's activities for free this summer at Waltham Village Hall. Dates are 18th - 22nd July and 15th - 19th August for children aged 5 to 13.

MBC Planning Committee will decide on the tenure application this Thursday
Platform Housing Group have submitted an up-dated tenure plan for the development behind 38-48 High Street, Waltham. It will be discussed at this Thursday's planning meeting 26.05.2022 at MBC. WOTWATA Biodiversity Group - Evening talk on rewilding your garden
The Waltham on the Wolds and Thorpe Arnold Biodiversity Group invited John Bristow of the Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust (LRWT) for a talk on rewilding your home garden. From April 4th to June 30th you can vote for our Biodiversity Bee project in the Tesco Stores in Melton Mowbray.

DEFIBRILLATOR AWARENESS SESSION WEDNESDAY APRIL 27th @6.30pm
OPEN TO ALL PARISHIONERS IN WALTHAM AND THORPE ARNOLD
There are two new defibrillators in the Parish - one on Seabrook Avenue and one outside Thorpe Arnold Village Hall.
There will be a defibrillator awareness session held at Thorpe Arnold Village Hall on Wednesday 27th April at 6.30pm. There is a maximum of 50 places available - please register your intent to attend with the clerk.
