On the 6th September 2021 NRI are commencing works to complete the 278 works between Melton Road and Seabrook Avenue on behalf of Brampton Valley Homes. This is programmed to be 3 weeks work.
Access will always maintain to the estate and properties.

Work will be carried out by Severn Trent to repair a sewer on the Melton Road. Work is scheduled to start on the 23rd August and will take approximately 5 days to complete. The water supply will not be affected during this time.

Melton Borough Council are currently working with Crawshaw Urban Design on a draft Design of Development Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). The consultation on the draft document runs until 22nd July and there are two public consultation events taking place over Zoom. Melton Borough Council have posted notification of a proposed diversion of footpaths E99 and F1 in Waltham. The changes are minor and can be seen as dotted lines on the map attached.
A detailed description of the change can be found in the attached documents. The proposed change are being discussed at the next Council meeting on Thursday 17th June 7pm at the Village Hall.

The Parish Council met with the Chief Executive and the Assistant Director of Planning at Melton Borough Council via zoom seeking responses to several continuing concerns about the development behind 38-48 High Street, Waltham. The attached document details the exchange.
The Parish Council will continue to monitor the situation very closely and will provide further updates as and when received.
