FEEDBACK - Re-allocation of earmarked reserves
Thank you to everyone who responded to the consultation on how the Parish Council should redirect some of the earmarked funds. The outcome of this survey was discussed at October's Parish Council meeting and five options were shortlisted for consideration in November.
A outline of the discussion can be read in the October minutes and this also gives reasons as to why some projects did not go forward. However, Council will respond to additional concerns highlighted which can be dealt with outside of earmarked reserves and as part of standard council practice. These include cutting back verges on footpaths, liaising with County on trying to improve the situation on the Woodfold Lane bend between Waltham and Grantham on the A607 - an accident hotspot - and improving the public Rights of Way, especially on the Mowbray Way. The Parish Council will pursue these issues in the coming months and will report to parishioners with regular updates through the monthly Parish Council meetings, articles in the emailed newsletter (also displayed on the Noticeboards) and posts on social media.
