The project to renovate the Memorial Green has been successfully completed. The new plaques commemorating the fallen from the village were made and installed by The Stone Sign Company who are experts in this field. If you would like to reserve a place on the Green itself, please contact the Clerk as soon as possible. Although Remembrance Services have been allowed to go ahead, numbers are still restricted and social distancing will be observed.

On Sunday 8th November, the Parish Council are hosting the annual Remembrance service on the Memorial Green, albeit reduced to a wreath laying ceremony this year due to Covid-19 restrictions.
There will be 20 spaces on the Green itself which can be allocated to parishioner. Please contact the clerk if you wish to take part and reserve a space.

The Church and the Parish Council will be holding an outdoor service on the Memorial Green in Waltham - full details to follow shortly.

Over the past 6 weeks and after a long incubation period, a renovation project managed by the Parish Council has been taking place on the Memorial Green in the centre of Waltham on the Wolds.

After an extensive refurbishment programme, the Play Park at Goadby Road has re-opened. There is a completely new toddler swing unit, the junior swings have new chains and the tall slide and Jungle Unit have been repaired and renewed. Some of the older equipment has been removed, creating space for future installations.

PLAY PARK CLOSED FOR REFURBISHMENT
The Parish Council have approved a programme of refurbishment at the Play Park on Goadby Road.
The work will begin on Wednesday 23rd September and the Play Park will be closed whilst the work is completed.
