The WOTWATA Biodiversity Group is taking the first steps in wild flowering road verges and other public spaces in Waltham on the Wolds and Thorpe Arnold. Two projects are coming along. Please be aware that the High Street will be closed to all traffic (less access) from numbers 34 to 52 from Monday 8th February for 14 days.
This is so that Burmor Construction and their contractors can undertake drainage work to alleviate surface water linked to the development behind 38-48 High Street.
There is a diversion route in place.

The Parish Council have been asked to consider a deed of variation submitted by the developers with respect to the S106 agreement from the initial planning application for the houses currently being built behind 38-48 High Street, Waltham on the Wolds.
In the initial application, the number of affordable housing allocated was set at a maximum of 6 out of 24 houses.
