WOTWATA Biodiversity Group - Evening talk on rewilding your garden
The Waltham on the Wolds and Thorpe Arnold Biodiversity Group invited John Bristow of the Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust (LRWT) for a talk on rewilding your home garden. Support the Waltham's Big Bee Challenge
From April 4th to June 30th you can vote for our Biodiversity Bee project in the Tesco Stores in Melton Mowbray.
If you make a purchase of any value in the Superstore (along A607) or Tesco Express (Nottingham Road), you will receive one token per transaction. Please put your token in the Waltham's Big Bee Challenge slot. You'll find the voting bay for the tokens near the exit of the stores.

DEFIBRILLATOR AWARENESS SESSION WEDNESDAY APRIL 27th @6.30pm
OPEN TO ALL PARISHIONERS IN WALTHAM AND THORPE ARNOLD
There are two new defibrillators in the Parish - one on Seabrook Avenue and one outside Thorpe Arnold Village Hall.
There will be a defibrillator awareness session held at Thorpe Arnold Village Hall on Wednesday 27th April at 6.30pm. There is a maximum of 50 places available - please register your intent to attend with the clerk.

CLOSURE OF HIGH STREET WALTHAM FOR UP TO 2 DAYS
The High Street, Waltham will be closed for up to 2 days starting on Thursday 17th March so that Burmor Construction can carry out Carriageway resurfacing.
Diversions are via Stonesby, Saltby, Croxton Kerrial, Freeby and Garthorpe.

1st Waltham Beavers help planting fruit trees
The 1st Waltham Beavers and their parents did a great job on Sunday morning 6th March 2022 helping the WOTWATA Biodiversity Group plant 16 fruit (apple, pear, plum and nut) trees at the back of the Playfield.

A few plots will be available to rent from the 1st April 2022 in the allotment site behind the High Street in Waltham.
