It has come to the attention of our Front Enquiry Office staff at Melton Mowbray Police station from two separate members of the public this morning, reporting a scam email that is circulating.

A big thank you to all the residents on Goadby Road who moved their parked cars for a couple of hours on Friday 31st July so that this abnormal load could come through. Link Global Logistics Ltd were grateful for your co-operation.

Abnormal Load on Goadby Road 31st July

There is an abnormal load expected on Friday 31st July between 9am and 11am en route to Chadwell. Those of you who park on Goadby Road have been asked to try and keep the route clear if at all possible for those 2 hours.

Play Park at Goadby Road Re-opens

Please be aware that the Play Park at Goadby Road, Waltham has re-opened.

A risk assessment has been carried out and is attached here.

There is signage at the Play Park highlighting safe practice and the same poster is also attached here.

Adherence to the guidelines would be appreciated so that everyone can use the facility and can feel as safe as is possible at this time.

New Benches Installed

A ne dark brown recycled material bench at the top of the High Street

As part of a refurbishment programme, two new benches have been installed - one in Thorpe Arnold and one at the top of the High Street in Waltham. In due course, the remaining two will be replaced. Please enjoy this new seating.
