
Biodiversity Group
At the end of 2020, Waltham on the Wolds and Thorpe Arnold Parish Council started a Biodiversity Group. The main goals as mentioned in the terms of reference are:
- discuss and make observations, representations and actions regarding the structure of biodiversity for the villages, including, planting, rewilding, woodland areas etc...
- advise the Council of its activities and make recommendations to the Council about improvements which can be made
Villagers - already more than 15 of all ages are involved - will work on different topics such as wild flowering, biodiversity survey, beekeeping and tree planting.
